This Armistice (acoustic) | The Receiving End of Sirens

… If it’s possible, the acoustic version of this song is even more beautiful. The harmonies at the end = gorgeous.

give me gravity, give me clarity
give me something to rely on…

we’re all puppets, we’re all marionettes.

Day 9 - a band you wish hadn’t broken up

SETTINGS
these boys were more than just a band to me. some of them were almost like brothers and I mis seeing them every couple of months <3
I miss the roadtrips I’ve been on to see them. I miss how excited they’d get when they’d see me.

ENVY ON THE COAST
I think it’s pretty obvious they’d be on here…
this band, although I never went out of my way to see them, were a big part of my life. Ryan’s got a way with words, and their music was just amazing. their live shows were nearly flawless.
and even though they just broke up, I already miss the shit out of them.

and, since as I was about to hit ‘Create post’ these two bands came on shuffle, they obviously want to be included in this:

honestly, I could keep choosing bands for this. I mean, it seems that so many talented bands just give up or lose the drive to keep moving forward.
it’s sad really, when you see all of these sorry excuses for bands continuing to gain fans and get more popular, yet they can’t even play their instruments.
and it hurts when your favorite band breaks up, or just a band whose members you built a relationship with…. but you’ve gotta learn to look at it from their perspective and only wish the best for them, even if that means losing a part of yourself
